The Management Balancing Act
At The Balance and Stretch Center we understand there are many organizations that provide education and motivation support to help people make good health choices. We share your passion to educate your clients to recognize the discipline and dedication involved in working to balance these 5 areas of health management (wellness support, food, exercise, sleep, and stress). We also share your goal to inspire and motivate your clients with a justified feeling of pride either when they make the right choices on a consistent basis or they simply continue to try.
The Balance & Stretch framework can help you help your clients to retain more of the health lessons you are teaching and organize the rich and deep educational material available so it is more likely to be used after clients leave your facility. Along with your clients’ routine healthcare team visits, your organization clearly plays a leading role in education. Frankly, we are in awe of the quantity and quality of great educational material available from many health focused sources. Inside the diabetes community alone, we applaud support available from the AADE, ADA, Barton Center, DECA, DLife, DRI, and the JDRF. Few can match the resources available from leaders like The American Heart Association and The American Cancer Society. If you would like to add your organization to our list you need only to let us know.
We can help by adding motivational and retention tool graphics to help you help your clients take control of their choices by balancing all areas of health. Our trademarks and copyrighted tools will also help your clients see the many great opportunities in the rest of their life. The mutually reinforcing health and life stars in the Balance & Stretch framework “work”.
The remainder of the For Health portion of this website offers a section for each of the Health elements. In each, we currently offer a sample of excellent websites available to provide more detailed information. If you would like to add your organization to our list you need only to let us know.
We also offer summary information specifically formatted under our Balance & Stretch framework to help those specifically challenged with diabetes that is also available in hard copy as a “Balance & Stretch Success Guide". If you are interested in our success guide, please Contact Us . It is our goal to further develop Success Guides that support other health challenges. |
